Separately downloadable 32bpp graphics are supported in OpenTTD 0.6.0 beta 1 till OpenTTD 1.1. To use them, you have to place the TARs in your
data directory and start OpenTTD with a 32bpp blitter. You can find more information in the article playing with 32bpp graphics. See also the Extra Zoom Levels project.
OpenTTD 1.2.0 and later support 32bpp directly via NewGRF support
There used to be a list of downloadable 32bit graphics here. It was a remnant from times when that was the most convenient way to deliver finished graphics. At the time of writing this note, the most convenient player resource is the 32bit automated nightly bundle. For some individual tars, go to 32bpp Extra Zoom Levels Files.
