MSVC Bundle

works perfectly for MSVC++ 2008 pro version as well, which is free to try for 90days with a direct download from MS site. the only problem is in the Bundle creation process 'PLATFORM=WIN64' should be 'PLATFORM=x64'

Freezing ships

  • On Vehicles you wrote recently that ships may cause a "freeze or lag". Can you elaborate on the cause and effects of this incident? I don't understand the note right now. --Krille 22:06, 8 January 2010 (UTC)
  • Ships take lots of CPU, and when there are many ships in a game, (ex. 30-50, or more) you may notice that the game is slowed.--Petert 16:04, 9 January 2010 (UTC)

I see, didn't have many ships yet. However the note, as it is, is still hard to understand for somebody who didn't ask back. Especially since you have mixed a game concept and an implementation detail in one sentence. It's hard to understand for someone who didn't already knew beforehand that having many ships won't change events in the game but may make the whole game run slower or with an uneven speed.
I don't think the note is appropriate at this place and would suggest to move it to some development page which lists known problems that should be improved. With a better implementation the game speed should not suffer from a high number of ships, I think.

Picture sizes
