If you have suggestions for new features, post them to the forum, where developers and other players will voice their opinions on your idea. Only post them under requested features if you have first started a forum thread, and definitely don't create a separate page unless it's under your user page.

There is a full featured tracker with feature requests available at http://bugs.openttd.org/ which will actually get noticed by developers (although not necessarily implemented... :D)

TileMask - Stumo has created a utility class for the stations addons patch that might be useful to other people. Basically an arbritrary shape of tiles are stored as being "in" the mask.

It would be nice if someone added an editor option to allow users raise land while holding the left mouse button. I am currently making a central europe map of size 10, and my fingers are already tired from all that clicking.
- GUI
Please, save positions of all open toolbars, maps, graphs, and it sizes for next time game is run
- Planes speed
There is no option to use realistic planes speed like in TTDPatch. I believe it to be very useful. Could someone add it in?
- News Prioritisation
At the moment, whenever a new news event occurs it is added to a que of messages which get displayed in the order which the events occured. A prioritisation system for important news (such as plane crashes/disasters) would be useful... currently a crash news message can get held up behind lots of economy changes - and then its too late to copy the planes orders :(
- Station sorting
A tool to sort the station list by type (bus, truck, train, etc.), quantity of cargo waiting and type of cargo waiting?
- Multiple adjacent airports
It would be useful to be able to place multiple airports next to each other as part of the same station (like is now possible with bus and truck stations).

- Short term: Increase maximum resolution and maximum in-game windows/panels, by increasing the CONSTANTS. (Reasonable values may be 3840x1024 and 50 or 75 windows?)
- Long term: Let maximum resolution and maximum in-game windows/panels be configurable through the config file.
