[edit] Patch Versions

Should I add a version colum to the patches so we can keep track of which version is currently in the MiniIN, or would that just be a waste of my time? --Hazelrah 17:36, 24 June 2006 (CEST)

No. I don't think my opinion matters much here, but nevertheless, I think that you don't need patch versions at all. Developers can see what they need in svn, this page is for users and they do not need version numbers. Moreover, it would be confusing. You know, Ottd version, miniin version, 45 patch versions. --Akral 23:11, 10 July 2006 (CEST)
Yeah, I thought about this too. It would be too much work, it would clutter the page, and there just wouldn't be much bennifit. --Hazelrah 01:45, 21 July 2006 (CEST)

[edit] "Bleeding Edge?"

This little mention sounds more like opinion than fact. After all, some patches may never get into trunk, or they've been rejected already. The "Bleeding Edge" would be making a svn checkout from the newest rev. Born Acorn 09:44, 20 July 2006 (CEST)

Hehe, sorry about that. I just kind of liked the phrase from other parts of the wiki, so I put it in. I could (or your welcome to as well) edit it out if you think that it's innacurate. --Hazelrah 01:45, 21 July 2006 (CEST)
You were right. I saw richk67 post that quote a few days ago and it's much more fitting. Think fits in the all right up at the top? --Hazelrah 02:04, 21 July 2006 (CEST)

[edit] MiniIN Patches inserted in Trunk

Why we don't remove from the list when a patch is added in trunk, instead of listing with "in trunk" on Status Column? Or in a new table? --Sidew 9:40, 20 September 2006 (GMT)

  • I recommend rather putting it in a second table, otherwise one would have to look up in two pages for all features currently in the MiniIN, as opposed to one page. - GAS 22:07, 22 September 2006 (CEST)

[edit] ChrisIN

Maybe someone should add information about ChrisIN? http://www.tt-forums.net/viewtopic.php?t=32698&start=0 --Pecet 22:34, 28 June 2007 (CEST)

[edit] Still in MiniN

Why do patches are still considered as "in trunk" eventhough they haven't been in the trunk for a while. I think it would be good for non-programmers, to at least say when they are in trunk (eg sinc build xx to build yy). --84.220.168.251 21:23, 1 August 2007 (CEST)

What patches are marked as "in trunk" and are not "in trunk"? 213.17.16.106 22:29, 1 August 2007 (CEST)

PBS for instance. Oh sorry. I meant "in MiniN", my fault! --82.88.146.65 09:16, 2 August 2007 (CEST)

That still makes the first question totally ambiguous. Anyway, PBS is still in MiniIN and will remain there as MiniIN is not developed nor updated anymore. 213.17.16.106 10:56, 2 August 2007 (CEST)
Not at all. If I see "PBS in MiniN", I'd assume that it is also in the latest nightly. If there was the additional information in which MiniN it is, then it would be much easier to decide what MiniN to choose personally without having to read all the forums or even worse, start a new discussion to find out again. --82.88.146.65 09:33, 3 August 2007 (CEST)
Something that is in the MiniIN is not necessarily in the (trunk) nightly. It never has been and it never will be. Furthermore PBS has always been in the MiniIN. As a matter of fact, a feature has (AFAIK) never been removed from the MiniIN, thus the latest MiniIN is the one with the most features. And as I said earlier, MiniIN is dead and will not be updated.213.17.16.106 09:46, 3 August 2007 (CEST)
I know that what is in the MiniN is not necessarily in the trunk. I already apologized for this error. Why does it say here that PBS is not available in latest MiniN? --82.88.146.65 10:03, 3 August 2007 (CEST)
It does not say that PBS is in MiniIN; it does not say anywhere that it is not in any very of MiniIN 213.17.16.106 20:19, 3 August 2007 (CEST)
