number_industries is a variable of Openttd.cfg file:

Sets the frequency of industries for a new map.

0 = none
1 = very low
2 = low
3 = normal {default}
4 = high

number_industries = 3

Valid options: [ 0 | 1 | 2 | 3 | 4 ]

Default: 3
